Compaq Visual Fortran to the Rescue!!!

The single best fortran 77 compiler in existence today, is the Digital/Compaq Visual Fortran compiler. Unix/g77/other compilers simply do not detect many of the errors that will prevent an application from running. g77 is horrific when it comes to this, failing to check basic programming language symantics. bloody annoying. thank you to the people who made this compiler, it is very powerful.
