Time to putting an end to buying the vote

Today’s date is listed above. It has been clear for a good time now that the Republican party is capable of outspending the Democrats for elections. Why can the US Government be bought? The greatest democracy (longest standing) is history should be above selling to the highest bidder. Money should not be a factor in democractic politics.

It is a difficult problem, with many facets, but there is a solution and time needs to be spent to find that solution. Money politics is a contradiction to a true democracy.
